The volunteer organizers of the Patrol have developed many mechanisms to  spread the word about crime and help us all share responsibility for the safety of our neighborhood:

• Crime alert notices by e-mail

• Regular newsletters

• Block captains

• Direct contact with the patrol officers via phone or a secured mailbox

• Phone trees and e-mail networks

• Membership yard signs

• Comprehensive membership database, easily updated in a secure fashion, via the internet

Frequent communication between the community and the Patrol officers allows all of us to respond rapidly to crime patterns and, hopefully, to prevent future occurrences.
