• In any 24 hour period, two (2) one-officer cruisers are available for the Dekalb Center Precinct, an area bounded by Atlanta/Ponce on the south, Briarcliff on the west, I-85 on the north, and North Druid Hills Road to the east.
   

• This is supplemented, during the peak crime hours of 7pm - 3am only, by a task force of 6-7 officers who move about the precinct as needed in response to crime.
   

• The Atlanta section of Druid Hills falls into the Atlanta Police Department's Zone 6, Beat 602, which runs from the Atlanta line in Druid Hills south to Dekalb Avenue and from Moreland/Briarcliff on the west to Clifton/Ridgewood/ Ridgecrest on the east.
   

• This area is covered by 1 one-officer cruiser 24 hours per day, with a back-up "umbrella" car available once the first car takes a call.
